I started my training under Sifu Garry McKenzie at the TWCS Headquarters in 2001. Having trained for over nine years, I am now an assistant instructor. I have also assisted in workshops and represented The Wing Chun School in a number of demonstrations, seminars in London and abroad.
2005 - I was part of the team to represent The Wing Chun School in demonstrations both in Hong Kong and Fatsan, China at the Second Wing Chun World Conference. I meet with Sifu Patrick Leung and Grand Masters Wan Kam Leung, Tsui Seung Tin, Ip Chun and Si Gung Ip Ching. As part of my Wing Chun experience I had the opportunity to participate in a seminar lead by Si Gung Ip Ching and visit the late Ip Man's home where Si Gung Ip Ching lives.
2007- I started to assist in the adult classes at the Headquarters. I also travelled to Norway to take part in seminars and workshops held at our Norweigan branch.
2008 and 2009 - I was part of the team which represented The Wing Chun School in demonstrations at Lee Valley Sports centre at Enfield.
December 2008 - I completed the fourth and final grading under The Wing Chun School. I have also been teaching the children's class for over 2 years and have started to teach privately and teach a children class at Springfield Young People Club.
