Ben’s Martial arts training began in 1988 with Thai Boxing, and then later Western Boxing where he fought at a competitive level. His introduction to Wing Chun began in 1997 at The Wing Chun School Ben’s training has become both serious and intense, favouring the more combative approach to Wing Chun under the tutelage of Sifu Garry McKenzie.
Ben has represented The Wing Chun School in a number of demonstrations both in London and abroad including Norway and Fatsan, China. He has also visited Hong Kong and met with Grand Masters Wan Kam Leung, Tsui Seung Tin, Ip Chun and Si Gung Ip Ching.
Having completed the Wing Chun System under Sifu Garry, Ben teaches at a number of private clubs and agencies in London where he has delivered a series of self defence seminars.
He has also instructed hand to hand combat in Colombia and will be following suit in the United Arab Emirates later this year. At present he teaches privately in Knightsbridge, Central London.
